SUPER SOFT ORTHOTICS
Are super soft orthotics suitable for elderly feet?
Yes, super soft orthotics are ideal for elderly feet, especially where there is reduced cushioning, sensitivity or conditions like arthritis. They provide gentle support without adding pressure, helping improve comfort and stability when walking.
Do super soft orthotics help with foot pain and pressure?
Yes, they are specifically designed to absorb pressure and reduce impact on sensitive areas of the foot. This can help relieve pain in the heels, arches and forefoot while improving overall comfort throughout the day.
What is the difference between prescription orthotics and store-bought insoles?
Prescription orthotics are designed by podiatrists based on how your feet move and function. Unlike generic insoles, they are tailored to your specific needs to provide targeted support, improve movement and reduce strain.
Can elderly people wear orthotics every day?
Yes, prescription orthotics are designed for daily use. Super soft orthotics are particularly suitable for everyday wear, offering comfort, support and stability for walking, standing and general activity.
How long do work orthotics last?
Most prescription orthotics last between 12–24 months depending on usage, footwear and daily load. Regular review is recommended to ensure they continue to provide optimal support.
Can I order orthotics online without visiting a clinic?
Yes. Our online assessment allows our podiatrists to assess your movement and prescribe orthotics without needing an in-person appointment. This makes it easy to access podiatrist-prescribed orthotics from home.

🎥 How to Record Your Walking Video
To get the perfect prescription, our podiatrists need to see how you walk. Don’t worry — it’s quick and easy! Watch the short video below for a simple guide on how to film your walking video at home.
1. Find a flat, clear space
A hallway, driveway or quiet footpath works well. Make sure the area is clear of obstacles.
2. Set up your phone/camera
Ask a friend or family member to film or place your phone on a stable surface about 3–4 metres away.
3. Walk naturally
Walk away from the camera for 5–6 steps, then turn and walk back towards it.
Repeat this 2–3 times at your normal walking pace.
4. Check your video
Make sure your feet and legs are clearly visible in the frame and the video isn’t shaky or blurry.
5. Upload with your assessment
Attach the video when completing your online assessment and you’re done!
