Orthotic Fitting Guidelines

Depending on the size and shape of your footwear, your orthotic may require trimming.

To ensure your prescription orthotics fit properly in your footwear please follow the following guidelines…

ORTHOTIC FITTING GUIDELINES

Remove Insole

Remove the original insole from your shoes

Line up Insole

Place the original insole on top of your new orthotics, lined up at the heel

Trace Insole

Using a pen or marker trace around the front of the original liner

Trim Orthotic

Using scissors trim the front of your new orthotics by following the pen marking

Fit Orthotics

Insert your new orthotics into your shoes and follow the wearing in guidelines
